International Submissions
PRE-SELECTION FOR INTERNATIONAL SUBMISSION
(sorry this only applies to artists outside the uk)
This year we are encouraging international submissions. There is now the opportunity for overseas artists to submit their work in digital format for an initial assessment. We hope that this will reduce courier fees and the exhibition’s carbon footprint.
After making the usual entry payment via Pay Pal, artists are invited to submit good quality digital imagery by email from which a pre-selection will be made.
If you are living abroad and would like your work to go through a pre-selection process please could you send one digital image for each of your works to rppreselection@mallgalleries.com. PLEASE MAKE A NOTE OF THIS AS YOU WILL NOT BE ASKED TO SEND THE EMAIL AFTER REGISTRATION
To ensure your images arrive safely please could you be sure to do three things:
- Use the same email address as the one you used with paypal
- Title the images correctly with your surname-initial-title of work for example ‘Monet-c-water lilies ‘
- Make sure that each file is no bigger than 1MB.
An email acknowledgment of receipt will be sent.
Deadline for Pre-Selection by this method is the
15th February. Applicants will then be notified by 18th February as to whether they have been invited to send their work for the Final Selection.
Those who are successful will then be required to submit original art works to the Selection Committee on the 12th or 13th March.
Successful works must be delivered to 17 Carlton House Terrace, London SW1Y 5BD on Friday 12th and Saturday 13th March 2010, between 10am and 5pm for the Final Selection.
Work which is not successful after the Final Judging must be collected on Saturday 27th or Wednesday 31st March 2010, between 10am and 5pm.
