| Early Career |
|
Having completed his degree in Graphic Design at St Martin's
School of Art, London, Geoffrey went on to work for 12 years
in design groups and advertising agencies, managing several
high profile accounts in both London and Paris. His passion
has always been art history and painting, and upon his return
to London in 1993 he began to paint full time. |

| Exhibitions |
|
Geoffrey's work has been selected for exhibition at the National
Portrait Gallery, London, during the BP Portrait award exhibitions
in 1993, 1995, 1997, 1998 and 2000. Since 1999, his paintings
have been shown annually at the Royal Society of Portrait
Painters exhibition at the Mall Galleries in London. His work
is also held in a number of private collections and can be
seen regularly elsewhere in London and in the provinces. |

| Commissions and Activities |
|
Geoffrey is currently working on a number of public and private
commissions in tandem with a series of works concerned with
family and personal relationships, impending middle age, and
the passage of time. His approach follows a tradition of strong
drawing skills combined with intense observation of his subjects.
His works are held in private collections in England, France
and the USA.
He was elected to become a member of the Royal Society of
Portrait Painters in 2000 and was subsequently elected to
the RP Council in 2001.
