2011 Bulldog Bursary Winner – Rebecca Cartwright

“There are so many extraordinary painters of people who have gone before us that I admit a little trepidation and great respect as I follow in my own way, nevertheless with determination and a paintbrush.

I am happy and honoured to receive this prize, which will give me a significant opportunity to develop in exploring the difficult and complex task of painting people.”
